Welcome to a new literature issue. This month, we bring three stories to work with posters: The Goose that Laid Golden Eggs, The Old Couple’s Piece of Cheese and Jack and the Beanstalk. The latter, having an animated version that you can watch in class at bit.ly/edibajackhabichuelas. Each story has its teaching sequence and photocopiable activities.
You will also find a nursery rhyme to work with very young learners called Teddy Bear, Teddy Bear.
For young learners there is a poem to work on pets, furniture and prepositions of place
called Animals All Around.
Consonants are introduced in our Phonics for Kids section, featuring plosives in
traditional nursery rhymes.
Last but not least, a new CLIL lesson is presented with Plants We Eat, which can be
used on its own or as part of a Plants unit which has been published in previous
